Scholarship Information
Scholarship Winners
Each year the SMB Foundation provides a scholarship to one (or more than one) senior student graduating from Mansfield High School who is pursuing an academic future at a two or four-year college. This scholarship helps us keep Samantha's memory alive, and also allows us to give back to the community just as Samantha did. To date, the SMB Foundation has awarded $42,000!

Samantha was an active member in the Mansfield community, as well as at Saint Mary's Church, and the Bryant University community. She loved volunteering and giving back in every way she could.

It is important to the Foundation that the students who are awarded the scholarships also value involvement in their community. Each student is required to write a short essay describing why they believe it is important to give back to their community and how they give back through volunteering.

The SMB Foundation is a merit-based scholarship. Financial information will not be requested or taken into consideration.

Applications for the SMB Foundation Scholarship are available through the Mansfield High School Guidance Department.

The scholarship is announced and presented at Mansfield High School Scholarship Night in late May each year.
