About Us
The SMB Foundation was established by family and friends in memory of Samantha Marie Bourque. The Foundation was founded in 2012 after Samantha lost a 22-month battle with a rare form of cancer.

Each year the SMB Foundation hosts a fundraiser to remember Samantha and raise funds to support a scholarship awarded annually to a graduating senior from Mansfield High School.

On August 18, 2012 the SMB Foundation held a dedication ceremony dedicating a beautiful tree, plaque, and bench in Samantha's memory. ​
​
The tree, plaque, and bench are located at the East Street Fields in Mansfield, MA where Samantha played all four year of high school on the varsity softball team - and where her one and only home run was hit!
​
Please stop by the East Street Fields and enjoy a softball game, just as Samantha would have!
